1. Lieberman Warns PA Ready for 'Bloodshed' in September

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has announced he is advocating that Israel sever all ties with the Palestinian Authority.

Lieberman told reporters Sunday that he would ask the "forum of eight" – a subgroup of ministers within the Cabinet – to end Israel's relations with Ramallah.

The foreign minister explained the reason for the move stemmed from the PA's attempt to prosecute IDF officers at the International Criminal Court at The Hague.

"No Finance Ministry officials, not the Water Authority and no Foreign Ministry officials [will maintain ties]," he said. "You cannot have security coordination [with Israel] while you are also trying IDF soldiers at The Hague."

Lieberman said the PA is making preparations to carry out wholesale bloodshed in September. At that time, the PA plans to ask the United Nations to officially recognize it as an independent country, and to grant it membership status within the international body.

The foreign minister said PA officials, despite claims of "non-violent action," are instead preparing to flood checkpoints with tens of thousands of PA Arabs who might then force their way past IDF soldiers and into Israel's major cities.

"The Palestinian Authority is getting ready for bloodshed on a scale we haven't seen," he warned. "The more they speak about non-violent action, the more they are preparing for bloodshed."

Copter shot down, killing 30 US troops, 7 Afghans

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Insurgents shot down a U.S. military helicopter during fighting in eastern Afghanistan, killing 30 Americans, most of them belonging to the same elite Navy SEALs unit that killed Osama bin Laden, as well as seven Afghan commandos, U.S. officials said Saturday. It was the deadliest single loss for American forces in the decade-old war.

The downing was a stinging blow to the lauded, tight-knit SEAL Team 6, months after its crowning achievement. It was also a heavy setback for the U.S.-led coalition as it begins to draw down thousands of combat troops fighting what has become an increasingly costly and unpopular war.

None of the 22 SEAL personnel killed in the crash were part of the team that killed bin Laden in a May raid in Pakistan, but they belonged to the same unit. Their deployment in the raid in which the helicopter crashed would suggest that the target was a high-ranking insurgent figure.

Special operations forces, including the SEALs and others, have been at the forefront in the stepped up strategy of taking out key insurgent leaders in targeted raids, and they will be relied on even more as regular troops pull out.

The strike is also likely to boost the morale of the Taliban in a key province that controls a strategic approach to the capital Kabul. The Taliban claimed they downed the helicopter with a rocket while it was taking part in a raid on a house where insurgents were gathered in the province of Wardak overnight. Wreckage of the craft was strewn across the crash site, a Taliban spokesman said.

A senior U.S. administration official in Washington said it appeared the craft had been shot down. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the crash is still being investigated.

"Their deaths are a reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices made by the men and women of our military and their families, including all who have served in Afghanistan," President Barack Obama said in a statement, adding that his thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those who perished.

The U.S.-led coalition said in a statement that 30 American service members, a civilian interpreter and seven Afghan commandos were killed when their CH-47 Chinook crashed in the early hours Saturday. A current U.S. official and a former U.S. official said the Americans included 22 SEALs, three Air Force air controllers and a dog handler and his dog. The two spoke on condition of anonymity because military officials were still notifying the families of the dead.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai announced the number of people killed in the crash and the presence of special operations troops before any other public figure. He also offered his condolences to the American and Afghan troops killed in the crash.

The deaths bring to 365 the number of coalition troops killed this year in Afghanistan and 42 this month.

The overnight raid took place in the Tangi Joy Zarin area of Wardak's Sayd Abad district, about 60 miles (97 kilometers) southwest of Kabul. Forested peaks in the region give the insurgency good cover and the Taliban have continued to use it as a base despite repeated NATO assaults.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a statement that the helicopter was involved in an assault on a house where insurgent fighters were gathering. During the battle, the fighters shot down the helicopter with a rocket, he said.

An American official in Brussels said the helicopter was a twin-rotor Chinook, a large troop and cargo transporter.

The casualties are believed to be largest loss of life in the history of SEAL Team Six, officially called the Navy Special Warfare Development Group, or DEVGRU. The team is considered the best of the best among the already elite SEALs, which numbers 3,000 personnel.

NPR and ABC News first reported that those aboard were believed to be Navy SEALs. The AP withheld the report at the request of their sources until they believed the majority of families of those lost had been notified.

The death toll surpasses the previous worst single day loss of life for the U.S.-led coalition in Afghanistan since the war began in 2001 — the June 28, 2005 downing of a military helicopter in eastern Kunar province.

In that incident, 16 Navy SEALs and Army special operations troops were killed when their craft was shot down while on a mission to rescue four SEALs under attack by the Taliban. Three of the SEALs being rescued were also killed and the fourth wounded.

Afghanistan has more U.S. special operations troops, about 10,000, than any other theater of war. The forces, often joined by Afghan troops, carry out as many as a dozen raids a night and have become one of the most effective weapons in the coalition's arsenal, also conducting surveillance and infiltration.

From April to July this year, special operations raids captured 2,941 insurgents and killed 834, twice as many as those killed or captured in the same three-month period of 2010, according to NATO.

The coalition plans to increase its reliance on special operations missions as it reduces the overall number of combat troops.

Night raids have drawn criticism from human rights activists and infuriated Karzai, who says they anger and alienate the Afghan population. But NATO commanders have said the raids are safer for civilians than relatively imprecise airstrikes.

The loss of so many SEALs at once will have a temporary impact on the tempo of missions they can carry out, but with an ongoing drawdown of special operations forces from Iraq, there will be more in reserve for Afghan missions.

The site of the crash, Tangi, is a particularly dangerous area, the site where many of the attacks that take place in the province are planned, said Wardak's Deputy Gov. Ali Ahmad Khashai. "Even with all of the operations conducted there, the opposition is still active."

The U.S. army had intended to hand over its Combat Outpost Tangi to Afghan National Security Forces in April, but the Afghans never established a permanent base there. "We deemed it not to be stategic and closed it," said coalition spokesman U.S. Army Maj. Jason Waggoner. "The Taliban went in and occupied it because it was vacant."

Western military commanders have been debating moving forces from other areas in Afghanistan to reinforce troops around the capital and in the east, where the Taliban is often aided by al-Qaida and other terrorist groups. Earlier this year, the U.S. military closed smaller outposts in at least two eastern provinces and consolidated its troops onto larger bases because of increased insurgent attacks and infiltration from the Pakistan border.There have been at least 17 coalition and Afghan aircraft crashes in Afghanistan this year.

Most of the crashes were attributed to pilot errors, weather conditions or mechanical failures. However, the coalition has confirmed that at least one CH-47F Chinook helicopter was hit by a rocket propelled grenade on July 25. Two coalition crew members were injured in that attack.

The entrepreneur is constantly looking for opportunities to be able to work at home and save on overhead cost. Young parents who want to be with their children when they get home from school are now becoming entrepreneur home business owners. Are these marketing business opportunity entrepreneurs making good money? Of course they are or they would not stick to such business at all. 

Working from home has many advantages. First, you can work on you own time. You can work as early or as late as you want and nobody will ever call your attention to your working habits. If you dont feel like working, you can always take the day off and go somewhere to relax and unwind. When you work at home, you dont have to bother with dress code. You can work in your pajamas if you like. Anyway, its your output that your clients will be after not how you looked when you did the work.

Becoming an entrepreneur in a marketing business opportunity is a good option for young parents. Working from home would give you more time to be with your kids and supervise their daily activities. You can wake up with them early in the morning and join them for breakfast before they leave for school and go back to bed after they left if you want. You can even walk them to school and get that needed exercise. When the kids come home from school, you can always be there to welcome them. Work at home parents can spend as much time as they want with their kids as there are no fix rules or working hours if you work from home. The only thing that you should be concerned of is making enough sales to give you financial independence and to enjoy comfortable living. The idea of working at home is to earn without sacrificing quality time with your family.

How does one become an entrepreneur home business owner? There are many area to find a marketing business opportunity where an entrepreneur can engage. Your guide would be your personal interest and your existing resources. Why personal interest? If you like what you are doing, you would not mind putting in a lot of time and effort to make things happen. Wanting something is already a big step towards achieving something so try to work within your sphere of interest and not jump into something you are not familiar with. Familiar things give you more confidence as home business owner. Aside from working with familiar things, you should always take into consideration the resources you have at your command. The scale of your business undertakings should always depend largely on how much resources you have so make sure you know what you have to prevent overexposure. Spending within your means is a cardinal rule for entrepreneur home business owners.

One Internet marketing business opportunity that's getting lots of attention lately is the blog. A blog is relatively easy to set up and can be quite a bit of fun provided you're capable of writing good articles on a regular, consistent basis. Did you catch the keywords in that last sentence? O.K., I'll tell you - regular and consistent. This is where that entrepreneur spirit comes into play. A blog should come across as less formal than a website, which invites and encourages conversation. The content of your blog can sometimes be expanded by encouraging others to comment or respond to postings. This also allows the reader a sense of ownership and participation which can lead to increased traffic to your blog. All it takes to add to the blog is to log on, post the day's thoughts or activities and it's out there live. For someone whose intentions are to build a blog as a marketing business opportunity, of course, they obviously have to make it more revenue-based than that. This is done by using the blog audience as a market for  a product or service.


A good blog is a great marketing tool and a good way to promote your marketing business opportunity. You can also be successful by selling advertising, or posting links to another companies products and services also known as affiliate marketing. A good first step for your blog might be pay per click contextual advertising. The best known of these products is Google's Ad Sense. Google offers these ready made advertisements for placement on your marketing business opportunity blog or website.  The entrepreneur simply indicates the keywords and industry and Google does the rest. These ad links are placed on the blog site and when someone visits the blog and clicks on the ad links the advertiser rewards Google and Google rewards the blogger. Since we've mentioned Google several times in this paragraph, I should also tell you that Google has several tools for helping you with your keyword research, which is a huge topic that I'll discuss in another blog post.


Let's talk about affiliate marketing for a minute. Basically, an affiliate marketing business opportunity is a system through which an individual can be rewarded by a company for featuring their product or service on their affiliate website or blog. The affiliate entrepreneur will receive a pre-determined reward based on the amount of traffic, sales, or leads it helps bring to the company. In other words, this is also known as referral fee as it is basically what you will be doing for them, referring their product or service to visitors who are looking for information or to purchase something.  You can find an almost unlimited number of companies that offer programs for an affiliate marketing business opportunity on the internet. So it's up to you to choose one that will be beneficial for you and your business.


Unless you're already an internet marketing expert and even if you are,  you're going to need to constantly educate yourself to keep up with the ever-evolving techniques for effectively operating your affiliate marketing business opportunity. I would advise you to find a mentor or an online community that specializes in educating you in current internet marketing techniques and is committed to your success.

How to Create Your own Niche


A niche is something that sets your marketing business opportunity apart from your competitors. A Specialized Market is needed to compete with other businesses. You need a unique niche. Just make sure your competitors are not using the same one. Following are some ideas you can use to create that unique specialized niche.


Your niche could be that you offer free delivery. This may cost a little money, but you will gain the extra customers. You could offer a lower price to establish your Niche. Offer a discount sale if you can't afford to lower the price. It could be that your product achieves results faster. This niche is very effective because people are becoming more and more impatient and want results fast. Your credibility could be your niche. Some people think if you have been in business for a long period of time, you have more credibility.


Some of your five senses could open a niche market for you. Your product tastes, smells, sounds, looks, or feels better than the competition. When you target the senses, you're triggering basic human reactions. Your product could be light and compact. People may want to take the product on a trip. They may have little space, so they need a compact item. Your special niche could be that you've won a business reward. When you win a reward, tell your customers or visitors about it. This increases their trust in your marketing business opportunity.


The longevity of the product could be used as a niche for your product. People don't like taking the time and spending more money buying replacement products all the time. Your niche could be that your product is easy to use. People don't want to buy a product that they have to read a 20 page, hard to understand, instruction manual. Better safety features could be used as a niche. Your customers want to feel safe when they use your product. Made by hand, home grown and home baked could be important niches. Most people believe that products made by hand, or made at home, have better quality.


Your niche could be that you stand behind all your products. People want to know that you back-up any claims you make about your product. This could be in the form of a guaranty, warranty or free replacements.
Another way is to think like your target audience. Put yourself in their shoes think like them. Give them polls and surveys to find out what they are thinking. Then capitalize on your finding and develop a niche that none of your competitors have found. Use your brainpower, ask yourself questions like; how can I set myself apart from my competition? What could I offer that my competition can't? 


Now that you have your niche, that's just half the battle, you must test it. Does your niche appeal to your target audience? Will it attract people away from your competition? If it does, you're done, until your competition comes up with a better niche. If your niche doesn't, then repeat the process above and test until it works. If you want to eliminate your competition and be successful you will use this process several times. 


These are but a few ways that can set you apart from your competitors in finding and maintaining your niche. Always keep an eye open for new niches that will set your marketing business opportunity apart.
